Biography

Dr. Yun-Hee Kim is a president of Korean Society for Neurorehabilitation and takes other leadership positions in other Academic Societies of Korea. Her clinical specialty is neurological rehabilitation for the patients with brain disease. So far she has published more than 190 peer-reviewed articles in famous international and domestic academic journals such as Neurology (2006), Neuroimage (1999, 2008, 2015), Stroke (2006, 2011), Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair (2009, 2012, 2015), and 10 chapters of books in the field of stroke rehabilitation, speech and language disorders, and rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury.

Research Area

Her main research interest is human neural plasticity using functional neuroimaging such as functional MRI, EEG, and fNIRS. At present, she is on research projects about modulating neuroplasticity by noninvasive brain stimulation such as transcranial magnetic or direct current stimulations.
